Venezuela...NOW USING ONLY CRYPTO to move their oil. Western banksters are BUMMED.

in #informationwar6 years ago (edited)

The U.S. Navy is off the coast of Venezuela. Why? Is their an imminent threat of the Venezuelan army surrounding Washington and declaring the Unites States a Venezuelan colony?

Uh.....no.

So what is going on? I keep an eye on Dave Hodges from time to time. His accuracy as a prognosticator on economics and geopolitics is on and off, but this is a very interesting little three-minute audio on why the MAGA man in D.C. keeps making war-like guttural sounds against the basket-case South America nation.

I had only heard the slightest rumblings about the "petro," and so that is very interesting information. That an actual commodity-backed cryptocurrency is seen as such a threat to American western hegemony is a real stunner though. It sure signals to this writer that America's PTB DO view crypto as a significant player and a real threat to their bogus "federal" "reserve" scam.

It also says something to me about who President Trump really is. Would a truly MAGA guy who is all about "America First" be putting our navy in place to threaten a tin-pot "democracy" that is on the verge of economic collapse? I doubt it. BUT, a guy playing a "good cop" ROLE, and under orders from America's real power brokers...the international banksters who run the non-federal zero-reserve scam...just might.

Think about it.

Be careful.

It is Okay to love the message and to cheer for some of the apparent good stuff he does, but keep your eye on the ball...he may just have plenty of shells on the table.

It's been said a plenty.....end the fed!

sir mepatriot! I don't get it. Why do we care if they sell their oil in cryptos?

See my latest blog entry.

Actually, the US Navy's presence off the coast of Venezuela is highly overstated here. What assets have they got there? Not much, by tonnage. There's a token presence there to keep the rest of the continent from feeling like they have to send anything of their own (and the local nations are notoriously panicky and trigger-happy), and to prevent China from using the country's collapse as an excuse to establish a foothold in Latin America (it doesn't take a lot of US Naval presence to send China running back to what they mistakenly think is "their own" South China Sea).
As for Venezuela using only crypto... that's because that's their currency is worthless as their government collapses. Conjuring up a crypto and riding on the "oooo, aaaah" factor that comes with being the first State-backer of cryptocurrency is the only tool they have left. Given that Venezuela's GDP is lower than an average US State, I highly doubt the West's banking system is that concerned with them. Frankly, they've all got their eyes on (guess what country again) China, whose banking system's liquidity crisis is on the verge of meltdown with a simultaneously-ready-to-pop real estate bubble. That, thanks to their recent establishment of numerous cross-border currency exchanges, threatens all of Asia with financial chaos, which is probably exactly what China had in mind: "if our currency falls, you fall with it."
As for oil, the West isn't worried about Venezuelan oil. The US or Russia either one produced more barrels of oil last month than Venezuela has in the last two.
Venezuela is a major threat to Brazil and Argentina. For the US it's a nuisance, but not a problem for us except for its capacity to send another flood of refugees. I would suspect that danger is the reason Trump wants their population to have such an unfavorable opinion of the US that they feel disinclined to go there.

The real countries to watch in the coming decade are not going to be in South America or Africa. They're going to be Turkey, Japan, and Poland. Those are the three who are going to be a hell of a lot bigger names in the news a decade from now than they are now.
