RE: The most valuable commodity on the planet is running out – water

in #informationwar5 years ago

The world is over 2/3 water so it does baffle me how we haven't found a way to purify that water to quench the thirst of the masses. I know there's extensive research going on with the use of graphene which you may want to look into as well as it could be a very important development if that can be used to tap in to one of the most abundant resources of the planet.

I'm sure those in power will probably have a say about it if they haven't already though. As we all know, corruption is pretty prevalent...

Graphene could well be a great breakthrough opportunity. It is unfortunate that those in power place profit above people a lot of the time. Like when JP Morgan used Edison instead of Tesla because he could make so much more money using copper wire for electrics than giving it to the people for free, and cleaner, as Tesla showed. Ruined the world. Then there's the use of oil, global disaster... all for profit above ecology and humanity.

Yes I remember when I first read about Edison vs Tesla and being saddened about the whole story. How Tesla was then portrayed as a mad man and then all the suffering he had because of it.

It's a shame but chasing numbers seems to be better than chasing betterment of the human race
