Forced into exile in the Ecuadorian embassy on June 19, 2012, Mr Assange is guilty of having the intestinal fortitude to speak truth to power. For that, his life is ruined.

Thanks to the Australian government, who, unlike Julian, are gutless and complicit. They remain silent while one of their citizens is isolated and abused.

Thanks to the UK (pronounced "uck") government. Complicit sycophants best at US boot-licking.

Ecuadorian government. These folks started out well, but a change in government saw integrity and courage go out with the previous administration.

And mostly, thanks to the good ol' US of A. The home of the free and the brave.
They sure get pissed when confronted with a mirror.
