Everything you said is true. Unthinking people just really get lost when they believe that whatever is sold to us is for the reasons that it's claimed to be for. Usually under the guise of convenience or fear-mongering. CONtracts, they don't lie.
absolutely right. I'd say as a rule of thumb: don't assume anyone is working in your best interests unchecked. Sometimes they might, but that is rare and thinking it is common is a dangerously easy way of being taken advantage of.
