RE: Fly by Night Social(ism) Media Networks want to Cement their Status via Government Regulation Before People Move on to Greener Pastures

in #informationwar6 years ago

Don’t push for regulation of these social media networks, find social media networks that don’t censor people. Look to the marketplace for services that fill the void, allow them to succeed and reward them by giving them your attention for doing the right thing.

Absolutely golden words! this is the message we should spread. This is the path we should take. Ayn Rand said when one end is right and the other is wrong, the middle is evil (I'm paraphrasing). Getting regulation into the bedroom is doing exactly that. Regulation created the boom and bust cycles. Regulation is keeping systems alive that are not worthy of being kept alive. If freedom is so good (and it is) then it should be able to stand on its own. Freedom needs no regulation or approval.

FAANG and rest of the companies have total right to do whatever they want as their policies as long as NAP isn't violated. It's these idiots who use these services that are posting practically every aspect of their lives on social media that ruin their privacy. You are merely using a service when you are using FB, YouTube etc. If it's a bad service, don''t regulate and make it evil. Just LET IT DIE!

Thanks for posting. resteemed for visibility.
