Initiative Q is offering free digital currency
What is Initiative Q
Initiative Qs say it is building a new payment system, part of which will include new currency Q.
Founded by people including entrepreneur Saar Wilf, who sold his fraud detection business to PayPal in 2008, and economist Lawrence White, it claims to bring together lots of cutting-edge technology to "create a flexible, easy-to-use and inexpensive payment network".
Is it a scam?
No one knows if it is a scam or genuine.
I feel that there is no harm in signing up with a secondary e mail then atleast you would know junk is not coming to your main e mail, in the worst case scenario.
At present they are asking name and e mail. In future if they ask personal details like DOB or address , then personally I would not give it to them and you can decide what to do.
