Art 152: Inktober Prompt- Stars: “You Are My Star”

Hello, Steemit Universe!

I feel so good today. I enjoyed my class because everything went very well. Nobody was absent and everyone behaved properly in the class. I really hope it would be always like that.

So, when I went home I was so excited to grab my art materials to celebrate my beautiful day. I remember that I need to make my inktober entry. And I used the prompt star! Hahaha.

The Process

First, I used my pencils to draw the outline. I did not put so much pressure so that I could only make fine pencil lines that could be erased easily.

Second, I got my green inking pen and started doing the hair. As much as possible, I copied the hair strands and followed the directions of the hair.

I also made sure that I did not ink the part where the light should fall. I think it is very important in any artwork and in any medium.

Fourth, for the face and body, I used the stippling technique. I made closer and more dots on areas that are shadowed or shaded. In other words, I put values in the artwork.

Fifth, then I added a black background using the black marker. This speeded up my process.

Sixth, I added start by using a white inked pen. It is called white sign-o. I love this tool very much.

Finally, I used snapseed to edit my photo. I used the brush to give more exposure and balance the whole thing. I hope you loved the process.
