Dawg House Cafe
Featuring hotdogs, burgers, sandwiches, and ice cream, the Dawg House Cafe had a really funky and unique building! The roof was painted pink, the outer walls were painted yellow, and the door was aqua. I never ate there, but imagine that the interior was just as interesting as the exterior. The business is now closed and another business occupies the property. Sadly, the new owners have painted the roof red and the outer walls a respectable slate blue.
Here is an artistic processing of the photo I took of the delightful building, which I think does justice to the eclectic visage of the place:
The sign underneath the three ovals on the roof says: "Where the Fun Begins."

Looks like a very fun house while it was still there :) When reading the description I was already imagining...and I'm totally not disappointed when I see the picture! Now let's imagine if there's a full city of these, and we'll be in a fairy tale...haha...
What an amazing building @thekittygirl! I would eat there just to see the interior, lol Good to see the building is still in use. Obviously the new owners chose to "tone it down" a bit, lol Certainly an eyecatcher! :)

I'm glad you were able to capture the funkiness of the place, the yummy colors. (a red roof and respectable slate blue is just WRONG). I love what you do with these photos. Saw this on #pypt, but I probably would have seen it anyway.
very colourful kitty, by the way did you do some editing in the ground or it's just painted by them. The house is lovely, it look's like in fairy tale. But why this store was closed?

Yes, I did some editing to the ground as well as the trees and building. I do not know why it closed, maybe they retired, or business was not good there?
