Tried and tested
It is during the worst times of your life that you will get to see the true colours of the people who say they care for you
When you are passing through tough and rough, times a lot if people around you will desert you because they don't want to be a part of your pain. Many of them give up on you before you are even started. Fair weather friends or family members are not trustworthy. So it is in times like this that you know who sticks with you. It is in times of trials and tribulations that you truly see the stuffs your so called people are made of. Some who are even capable of helping you turn their backs on you, they refuse to lend a helping hand. But it's okay for me because I simply sift through and identify the few who are on my side. These are the true ones who have been tested. I call them treasures.

I so resonate with this! Hard times show the true friends! Blood is not always thicker than water, sometimes we have to choose our own family.
