The Rich, The Poor

The difference between the poor and the rich is a very thin line. Yea some were born poor but being born poor is never a license to die poor, rather it's an opportunity not to allow your children suffer what you suffered as a result of poverty. Some others were born in wealthy homes but they ended up making themselves poor because they made no good use of the opportunity they had and they also spent so much on luxuries and liabilities.

Poverty is a mindset and not a state of life. Many were born poor but they made up their minds to leave poverty zone through "legal means". They were determined to get out of the struggles life has placed on them through poverty. They never accepted to remain poor and being addressed as poor people because that is not a good identity.

Many are poor today not because they lacked opportunity but they lacked proper spending of the little that comes to them. The poor spends more on liabilities while the rich spends more on assets, insurances and investments, and they spend very little on luxurious things.

The rich says:
Don't give me fish, teach me how to catch the fish.

The poor says:
Give me fish, I will learn how to fish later

When I said poverty is a mindset, this is what I meant; when you give a poor man a million dollars, he will spend more than 50% on luxuries before thinking of investment because he wants to show off to the other poor people around him. But when you give the same amount to the rich, they do more investment because they want to rest more while their money works for them even while they are sleeping.

The rich thinks of opportunity to invest and not opportunities to spend their capital but the poor is ever ready to spend their little capital with the hope of borrowing and starting all over.

The rich are getting richer while the poor are getting poorer because of differences in thinking

My friend you got to think and make plans for your life. Your parents handed over poverty to you and you are making no effort to change what you are handing over to your children? My friend you got to think again.

Being born poor is not your fault but if you die poor then you caused it!
