Instagram finally gets Verified profiles!!! Plus a few more security features ;)
Here in the upcoming weeks Instagram will let you verify your account by uploading a government issued ID. This is finally a much needed extra security step into weeding out fake profiles and bots. I am very much pleased with this announcement. Now I just hope Facebook rolls out the same feature to all public profiles in the near future. Also Instagram will roll out some more security features such as third party 2FA app support & about this account feature that shows features about the user's profile.
