Don't Turn Big Tech into Public Utilities, Just Pass an Internet Bill Of Rights
Don't turn monopolies into government backed monopolies (which they may actually want)- instead, render ALL sites to the same legal status as important enough for US citizens to have free speech and privacy explicitly protected. These sites will end up more profitable anyways and more competitive- fewer moderators will be needed and foreign states with lots of legalistic regulations will never be able to compete with fully free and open US firms.
