"Kuakata" One of the best sea beach of Bangladesh

Location:
The kuakata is located at Patuakhali district, . The distance from Dhaka to kuakata is 380 kilometers, and from Barisal 108 kilometers.

According to the 2011 census, the total population of Quaker is 9,077 and the number of families is 2,065.

History:
The history of kuakata is related with Arakan's arrival in the country. The word 'well' comes from 'coup'. It is believed that in the 18th century, the Arabs migrated to this region after being expelled from Burma by the Mughal rulers. So here they had digged a lot of wells or coupes to meet the lack of water, since then the name of the region is Kuakata!
