Blessings of love and light to you my follow steemers. (is that how you say it?!?)
My name is AdidA and I am fresh out of the water here on Steemit.
I am a visual, digital and a street artist.
I am also a musician, o yeah!

I dab each day in photography, videography, graphic design, illustrations, large scale murals and dymanic art installations and never ending doodling. I paint on pretty much everything, make sweet unique products and work with different majestic souls from around the world. O I am also crazy about animals, health and wellbeing, not to mention the protection of this wonderful planet and our precious minds and hearts.

I was born in Israel many many years ago and decided to travel the world to find my passion, 20 years later I landed in Canada, fell in love and decided to chill here for awhile.
I am new here so I truly don't know much about this wonderful place but after being on every platform available since Myspace and DeviantArt its great to see an upcoming platform that actually cares about its members, not to mention privacy, connectability and cash flow.

      Hello artbyadida! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

      1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
      2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
      3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
      4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.

              When I'm back in Montreal I'll give you a better tutorial. For the meantime, the best way to get followers is to make meaningful comments on other people's posts you enjoy. Always try to upvote posts you comment on. At first don't worry too much about your voting power if you vote a lot it will go down, but 50% of almost nothing is still almost nothing, and at least you're building a network and making connections.

              big thanks buddy, can't wait to hear your wisdom. for now i am watching tutorials on youtube / dtube and getting pointers here and there about what to do and not do, i already see many many future ideas and ways to move things around here and i can sense spending hours a day in here to get cracking . exciting!
