The Battleborn Mercenary Guild has a new home on Steemit!
Those of you who follow @thatsweeneyguy will probably already know about the epic Dungeons and Dragons game that is about to take Steemit by storm! The game will reward participants by converting ALL liquid earnings to a prize pool that will be spread among steemians depending on how often and how well they play.
The game will be run through this account not only for the sake of branding, but for organization. I don't want my current followers to get bombarded with the volume of posts a game like this will require, and I don't want followers of the game to have to search through my personal feed for the game posts. This will also make it easier to seperate "my money" from the "guild's money"
The posts for this account will be written in the spirit of roleplaying, so henceforth, consider the author of this account to be Throm Hammerfoot, leader of the Battleborn Mercenary Guild. Anything in quote boxes like this one will be me explaining things out of character.
What is the BMG? It's a place to step into the boots of a daring adventurer, fight fer fame and glory, and earn some STEEM while doing it! Heroes'll be sent on missions with various goals, from slaying ferocious beasts, to findin' some hidden magical item. The guild gets a contract to complete a task, and finds adventurers willin' to fulfill it. Will you be on of 'em?
We've already gotta few brave souls willin' to venture into dark caverns and mysterious labyrinths in search of unfortold treasures, but could use all the help we can get!
Beyond the core group of players working their way through each dungeon, I want others to play the villians/monsters. This will give many more people a chance to earn rewards for taking part in the fun! Everyone who participates in a given post will earn a token, and I will reward bonus tokens when people roleplay well, coming up with interesting solutions to puzzles, and exeptionally striking down foes. The tokens represent one share of the total liquid reward generated by this account for a given period of time. Payments will be sent out to anyone who is credited with at least one token, at the end of each dungeon.
