first post -My Sky Turned Purple-

Hi!

I am thrilled to share my very first post with you on Steemit.

This post is considered to be introductory and personal as much as possible. However, I don't want to mention straightforward facts about me right away. Instead, I will try to give you an insight into my future posts. Hopefully, it will allow us to get to know each other and build a connection.

Let's start then!

"A couple of weeks ago, I was wandering around one of the historical districts of Istanbul, carrying my camera in one hand, looking for something to attract my attention. People seemed to be scattered around the city by some bizarre force beyond our world. It's like they were chasing after something and moving in different directions without any rest. YES. Life is incredibly fast and unpredictable here. Maybe that's why I keep my camera with me. It allows me to stop this rush. My way of doing it is a bit old-fashioned though. I have an old film camera that requires so much effort and time. It doesn't bother me, in fact, it encourages me to slow down and I like it.

While drifting through the sea of people, I turned my head to the left and caught a glimpse of the Golden Horn and was immediatly captivated by the sunlight glistening on the Beyoglu District. Just like the people, nature was also in a hurry. The clouds were floating, the sun was peeking through the mess of clouds as well as it was hiding behind them. I set up my camera, shot the scene in front of me and enjoyed every moment.

The shot turned out to be something quite impressive.

Purple means a lot to me.
Therefore this photograph means a lot to me."
