RE: Helloooooooo Steemit

Welcome, @moneyman19!

You've got a lot of good advice already given to you -- here's some more! Follow @boddhistats to find good tags in addition to #humor that get attention -- stats on the best tags are updated every week. Also, check out @pifc and put your best post that is three days old or younger in a comment on Pimp Your Post #36 -- this will get friendly readers to your work, and as you engage with other posts you will make friends and followers quickly! Also look at @pifc's curation contests to see what kinds of posts get rewarded on Steemit for their high quality. Basically, @pifc will teach you how to be successful and help you get there! So too will @c-squared and @c-cubed -- look at what they pick up and highlight, and apply the knowledge to your work!

One more thing: right now, you have enough resource credits to write about ONE post a day and five comments. Write a post every day FIRST, and then check the previous day, say thank you to two or three commenters on that post, and then save your last two comments for commenting on other posts. In seven days, you will then accomplish this:

  1. Seven posts
  2. Somewhere between 14-21 thank you comments to those who come to support you
  3. Somewhere between 14-21 posts to support and thus introduce yourself to people who will also turn around and check out your posts.

Do this five days a week, and the numbers are still good: five posts a week, 10-15 thank yous, 10-15 ways to meet and support others. Keep doing this. Do NOT give into discouragement by the low payouts at first. As you do this, you will be assigned more resource credits and can post and comment more, and your payouts will slowly increase and you will pick up bigger support. Consistency is the key!

Later on, when you have all that under your belt, come find me and we'll talk about @curie and @qurator!
