MEGA devaluation?

The Venezuelans still do not assimilate the new economic measures, announced in the hours of Friday night by President Nicolás Maduro. Through social networks the reactions continue in the messages that, to the judgments of several students, only deepens in the devaluation of the bolivar.

Netizens called this August 17 "black Friday", referring to the shocking increase in the 1983 exchange rate and that severely affected the country's economy by raising the dollar from 4.30 bolivares to 7.50.

"Today, August 17, 2018, the official dollar went from 240,000 to 6,000,000 bolivars, the most monstrous devaluation in our history," said journalist Luis Carlos Díaz.

The ex-governor of Miranda state, Henrique Capriles Radonski also uses his social networks to pronounce on these new announcements, which is next to a minimum salary of 180,000,000 bolivares fuertes.

"Today, Maduro killed the new monetary cone, and in a very short time, the 5 zeros that were taken from the currency will not have been of any use ... No Venezuelan deserves to live this tragedy and those incapable continue to destroy our country!" Wrote Capriles.

For his part, the economist Jose Toro Hardy said that the increase in salaries involved the breakdown of many companies for the power to pay employees.
