An awesome Occasion: The celebration became a double celebration

Hello my dear friends, this is @hermannsol and today i want you all to help us celebrate my mother in the Lord.

This is my pastor's wife and my mother in the Lord. She has been an awesome mother to all the young youths at our Church, "Bride tabernacle" here in Bambui, Cameroon. On Sunday, we celebrated the addition of a new member into the family. She gave birth to a bouncing baby boy and he was named "Branham Achu". He was dedicated and named on Sunday before the Lord and congregation. It was a wonderful occasion for my pastor and his wife accompanied with their 3 other kids. I could not take pictures because i am the type that hates to be distracted in church so my phone is always kind of far from me. The peculiar and wonderful thing that happened is that, during the dedication, we received a call that the wife of our associate pastor just put to birth at that same time. The whole congregation was filled with joy and gladness. The celebration suddenly became a double celebration.

After service, the bride tabernacle choir had a little surprise for the pastor's family. We left Church and walked down to the pastor's residence singing as we walked. Many stared at us in amazement as we sang walking down the streets to the residence. We finally arrived at the residence and in a circle; we danced round praising God for the blessings. It was wonderful as the choir, children, and some church members joined us in the celebration too.

We finally took it into the house and continued the merry making in a similar fashion. We really danced and danced before finally settling down. We then had a word from our mother, the director and 3 other choir members before handing a small parcel as a gift to her from the choir. She was all covered in joy and appreciation. She appreciated us and we continued our merry making as we passed little Branham Achu from one person to the other making sure we all held him before leaving. That is the typical African way here of celebrating a newborn. It was fun and a joyous day in all.
