My Introduction Post
Hello! It is a pleasure for me to join to this community. I expect to share with you knowledge and interests. I would be charmed with receiving comments, to establish interactions about diverse topics.
I am a father of family, native of Barquisimeto, Venezuela. Place where I reside. I am a university teacher. My background is in Agronomic Engineering. I have postgraduate degrees in Horticulture and Plant Biotechnology. My investigation is directed to in vitro plant propagation, genetic improvement and greenhouse production. My particular approach centers on asexual propagated vegetables, fruits and ornamentals. Specially orchids.
My interests are: gardening, kitchen, photography of botanical specimens and classic music. Also I enjoy the history. I hope that the present could be the first one of many writings. Cordial regards.

Hello! The best "steem pathway" could be to join steemSTEM community. Find steemSTEM on discord and read all related guidelines.
Some quick tips: present your original work and your passion. Write about the orchids, take your own images and make it nice, long and readable for general public. Check @dber for inspiration, he is writing about mushrooms.
Don't be afraid to present some details, there are many biologists here and we like to learn. Use and cite original sources, real scientific papers.
It's much better to write nice, long posts, rather than "1 picture, 1 paragraph posts". Avoid making Wiki 2.0, be original.
Never, ever, plagiarize. Never. Seriously, never.
