Hello, fellow Steemians! Or is it Steemites? I'm not sure, because I'm new; therefore I'd like to introduce myself! My name is Mike Heinhold, a photographer residing in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. For many years I've been adding a lot of adventure to my life for the sake of a good photo. A ton of stories come from those adventures, and I've always loved to talk about them. Finding listeners wasn't always easy. Hearing of Steemit from a friend of mine, I've come to hear of the inviting, encouraging and positivity on this site.
Photography has been a lifelong passion of mine. Over the years, I've dipped into many different styles trying to find, or better yet, create my own. One genre that has stuck with me for many years is Urban Exploration. For a while now, I've been redefining that word. Bringing away from pop-culture the fact that "urban exploration" has so many meanings and not just exploring abandoned buildings. Simply look at the name. It's simply exploring urban areas. Not just abandonment. I also try to push myself to learn new things all the time. Steel Wool photography and light painting are a couple of my newest styles of picking up.

I wanted to be one of your first upvotes and also give you a super warm welcome to the Steemit community. For me, the 2 best things about being a Steemian are sharing and automation. The sharing part is when you upvote someone else's post, you get a piece of the curation (money/crypto) from that post (and vice versa). The automation comes from using steemauto.com to auto upvote so you can literally make crypto (Steem) in your sleep.
For example, you can earn a share of the curation on my post from 3 days ago "How we Walked Through Paradise" by upvoting it (The Sharing). The amount of money is shown in the post.
After signing in to steemauto.com using Steemconnect (a part of the Steem blockchain), come back and click here ""Stewsak Fanbase"" and follow to upvote and receive a share of the money made from all of my posts (the automation).
