Luego de crear mi cuenta y pasar algunos días explorando esta red intentando descifrar su dinámica, me animé a realizar esta publicación inicial de Introduceyourself, me llamo Róbinson Fernández, soy venezolano y profesor de artes plásticas egresado de la Universidad Simón Rodríguez, y desde hace algunos años me dedico a enseñar a dibujar, pintar y modelar a niños y niñas.
Algunos amigos dicen que soy artista, aunque prefiero no definirme así, ya que el título de “Artista” tiene un enorme peso histórico y estoy consciente de que el solo hecho de saber dibujar o pintar no nos convierte automáticamente en artistas.
En el mundo de las artes plásticas me gusta trabajar con materiales convencionales como el óleo, acrílico, pastel, etc, pero desde hace unos años he retomado el trabajo con plastilina, un material poco convencional que es subestimado por algunos creadores ya que lo asocian con el jardín de infancia, pero que en lo personal lo considero un recurso muy versátil y práctico.
Con la plastilina no pretendo hacer “Arte” sino más bien expresarme libremente sin prejuicios, evocando mi infancia; eventualmente realizo ilustraciones, personajes y obras en miniatura para diversos requerimientos; de igual forma, considero a la plastilina como un excelente recurso didáctico en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje, empleándola sobre todo en el abordaje de alumnos con diversidad cognitiva, logrando avances significativos en el desarrollo de concentración y adquisición de destrezas y motricidad fina.
En mis próximas publicaciones estaré compartiendo algunos trabajos y sus procesos de creación, en los que emplearé técnicas de dibujo, pintura, collage, y por supuesto, realizaré algunas obras con uno de mis materiales favoritos, la plastilina.
