The world of semiotics is a very interesting one, for those who do not know what it is I am going to give you a brief explanation before continuing. In a very simple way, semiotics is the science that studies meaning. How it does it and the implications of meaning in our society is something much more complex and shed some light on this subject is the purpose of this blog.

I propose to create different articles in which I will try to shred the subject, its applications and each of the phenomena of the meaning that surround us so that at some point they understand how semiotics is something completely everyday and useful.

I will talk about how thought, language, and image are involved in all the processes of meaning. As the language with its alphabets, dreams, and even currencies revolve around the meaning we give them, they receive a value from us and even a form through the name given to them.

I will introduce you to some spectacular authors who have become obsessed with the subject and in light of their historical moment, they have developed the different theories of semiotics. So I hope you follow me and enjoy this trip that is about to begin. 😀
