Introducing Sutava

Hey there Steemit!

This is Sutava. Rather than being just one person, Sutava is an international team of writers that specialises in writing on the curious things in life. And we'd love to start sharing these things with the Steemit community!

What We Write

We find that mainstream media has two main problems:

• It's overly negative
• To find quality information, you usually have to sift through long articles and academic journals loaded with heavy jargon and useless background information

Thus, at Sutava, our goal is to write pieces that take all the key ideas from those long articles and academic journals and condense them into less than 500 words- or just around 2 minutes of reading. And we do this with a constructive and positive angle too so you feel energised after reading our work and not drained.

How Do We Do This?

Currently, our work is structured into three main categories:

1. Inspire: We write about how the world is getting better. From writing about startups and charities to new technological solutions, we strive to show people that the world is not as bad as conventional news makes it seem.

2. Explain: We explain the now. This is the ‘why’ of daily life from human psychology to the economy and social issues.

3. Do: We give people ways they can improve their lives immediately. Areas we cover include practical advice on mental health, lifestyle habits and skillsets.

So far, we have written on just about everything from blockchain and its applications, Tim Ferriss, US gun crime, stem cell technology and Dambe

We appreciate that like us, many of you likely enjoy indulging your curiosity from time to time- yet have no need (nor desire) to be an expert on topics like the placebo effect, warehouse farms nor impact investments in war zones. And so, it is in this vein that we invite you to follow us here on Steemit if you like the sound of what we do.
