Making our life more effective and eficient with lean concept

Hello every one...
Let me introduce myself. I am Mirwan as a lean manufacturing engineer from Indonesia. I was start learning lean concept went joining one of the biggest car manufacturing in the world which is TOYOTA. Historically, Lean concept already applied by Taylor in 1880 that known as taylorism work scientific management. Then, in 1915, Ford also used this concept in his car manufacturing process. This concept also developed by Toyoda and taicihi Ohno in 1943 as their master piece stategy which known Toyota Production System. This strategy already made the toyota as world class car manufactured that can produce car more effective and eficient compared with others. All of those achievement was achieved by applying lean concept in their daily work activity.
The question is whether lean concept also can be apply to our daily activity that makes our life more effective and eficient. That's why, throught STEEMIT, I would like to share all my experience when applying lean concept in my life. For instance, applying kanban system in my kitchen that makes me can saving a lot of money. Hopefully you guys can also share with me your daily activity and we can find the best way to make it more efective and eficient with lean concept.
