Hello Steemit! Happy to be here.

Well after a long week and a half wait I finally got my steemit verification. I am from the United States. ( I apologize for the voting mistakes of my less educated countrymen. Sincerely.) I have been off of social media for about 3 years now. Just couldnt take the silly nonsense, misinformation, and corporate/government observation and agenda in places like facebook.gov anymore. Not to mention the content! Just people spouting off some propaganda nonsense and another person spitting whichever counter propaganda they think is right back at them, oblivious to the fact they are both being manipulated. I did not think I would ever return to social media but I am here to give Steemit a try because it seems to be on the right track and focusing on helpful content not just shit people will become emotionally invested into arguing about so they can be manipulated by advertising and political agendas. Anyhow thats enough of that rant, for now. I live in the beautiful state of Michigan and I enjoy great music, great people, and the great outdoors. Im the loving father of a 22 year old son and proud caretaker of 3 American Bullies, a pitbull, and a beautiful little poodle and chiuhahah mix that is the most precious little creature to ever exist. I live across the street from a Humane Society shelter and have a never ending supply of dumped cats running around that we feed and love as well.

Here is a pic of Jedi and Padme with my friend Brad. When im not chasing all of the pets around I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and camping. I spend my summers doing outdoor activities and going to music festivals. Thats my natural environment. The music is the obvious pull but the community is where its really at. I have been to dozens of music festivals and it never gets old. So nice to be surrounded by people who will look you in the eye and smile as you pass them. People stopping strangers just to shake their hand. Its just a beautiful thing to be a part of.

When I am at home I enjoy caring for our garden. The picture is of a side garden we do in the drive way of my girlfriends house. A little urban garden in downtown Cleveland. Also have a larger garden at my place. We are vegan and do it all organic. We try to grow what we eat in the summer but we have some giant trees that we just refuse to remove because they are beautiful and were here first. The shadiness limits our production but we still get a ton of food each summer. IT saves us money, it's healthy and organic, gets us outside and exercising, and it just tastes so much better. I also enjoy sports and gaming in my free time. I try not to get sucked into wasting too much time but I have definitely caught the Fortnite bug. Such a fun game. Still mess with Overwatch occasionally and I'm slightly proud of making it to champion top 100 in Halo Wars 2. Other than that my current passion has been learning about and investing into cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Such an interesting future that is nearly upon us. I am not completely sure how I think it will work out but I am hopeful that all of this amazing technololgy will change the world for the good. I have my doubts that the powers that be will allow it be the positive change the world needs but I am still hopeful. I am positive they will try to turn it against us as they have with every other tech advancement. However, I am hopeful that the people will wake up and take control of this for themselves.
