These are great bikes. I had 800. Believe me theres enough power in the 800 and its a dam sight lighter and agile. Ive taken it on the steepest of climbs two up, Barely reving. I certanly wouldnt think it the lesser bike than 1200. I suppose long motorway rides you may prefare it. But the 800 managed them well enough. But th1200 is the better for motorways. Do you want more agility, Or comfort on long motorway rides.Either way, Wish i still had mine.
