Writing and Cryptocurrency....Who Knew???

Is it not simply fabulous when two of your primary interests can be served at the same time? Lately I have been working to become a better writer while simultaneously growing more and more interested in Cryptocurrency. The concept of being set free from the overarching governmental control of our financial lives is honestly blowing my mind just a little bit. Although we are a long way from achieving this goal I find myself unable to avoid participating in the process at least to the limits of my somewhat minuscule technical abilities. In essence this is a long way around to saying thank you to the powers behind steemit whose vision made it possible to pursue these two activities at the same time.

Now on to my least favorite subject of discussion, me. By way of the short, short version I am a church planting pastor in Galveston, Texas who loves Jesus, his family, our community, and all things coffee and tea. In order to provide the financial strength to live on the island and get our church plant moving we decided to go into the coffee business. Constantly going around asking for money to support our activities is simply not in my nature. We are currently working with our local Salvation Army station to provide Celebrate Recovery (Christ-centered 12 step recovery ministry see www.celebraterecovery.com) and will soon be kicking off a Wednesday night prayer meeting in one of the many local parks. We have been married for just over 18 years and have 2 teenage daughters (14 and 16).
