Market Overview.
The market appears to have come alive with market volume spiking above the $3Billion ceiling of last week. Bitcoin has been on a bull run as investors dump Altcoins for it in anticipation of the Bitcoin Gold Air Drop on Oct 25. The market gained $2.26Billion a 1.50% rise to close (GMT+10) at $152.999Billion while volume traded was $4.57Billion a 25.23% increase from the previous day. A total of 1154 cryptocurrencies and 5,663 market pairs were traded. Bitcoin's market dominance rose to 52.3% of the total market cap.

NEM was our biggest gainer recording a 10.06% growth, while NEO recorded the biggest loss of 7.61%, just as IOTA lost its No.9 spot to XMR dropping to No.10. Bitcoin recorded a growth of 5.06% with 44.38% of the total market volume, it traded as high as $4865 a few Dollars shy from an all-time high, as all other coins retained their spots. The top Ten cryptos combined market cap grew by 1.83% to close at $134.57Billion controlling 87.96% of the total market capitalization, while the remaining cryptos market cap declined by 0.86% to close at $18.42Billion.

QTUM recording the biggest increase in volume of 81.50% and XMR returned to the board evicting ETC and ZEC to claim spots No.8 and 10 respectively. While NEO had the biggest loss of 27.30% of investors attention. Our dominant pairs show a 60% CRYPTO/FIAT pairing, with a positive effect on the market cap. Combined volume was $4.11Billion a 26.47% increase, and an 89.90% of total volume traded, while the remaining cryptos traded $461.79Million a 12.64% increase in investors attention.

Love it, but it is still possible to make a profit on the Alts, even when they are falling - I made my target 2.5% and more by carefully selecting my trades.
Not advisable to trade Alts now, although they are a bargain

These altcoins will probably hit bottom on a week or so. Everyone is flooding to BTC for the fork. Poor little altcoins are bleeding to death. Once the fork is over there will be big $$ to me made on the altcoins.
And after moving to altcoins then it will move back to BTC just before Nov 1 and then back again to alts. Crazy
Oh ya just chasing those gains. There are huge gains to be made if you got the time to watch the trends and trade. Lots of money getting tossed around.
