Interesting read, the world cup betting competition is really a brilliant idea, lots of people love the world cup, a good way to spread the word about ruffchain.
Yeah the team were bang on with that promotion and I bet they gathered a lot more users and awareness about Ruff
Targetting big worldwide events like that as the basis of a marketing event is just good advertising, if they can get the word out well enough it could draw in a lot of attention

You're right that was a very good idea. As far as I know for this contest they joined forces with some other blockchain projects: LBA, ITC, TTC, RUFF, MOAC, KNT, and RATING. An example of something really good that can happen when you unite with your competitors for it.
It's football people unite for football always, i mean they drop barriers and competition to get it together
Yes, very good marketing strategy by Ruff team. It will give us chance to win tokens but also give publicity to Ruff project.

Oh man, I wish England the best but all teams that reached semi-finals are really strong enough to win. This will be a tough battle.

They are trying to engage the community and I think that that strategy would work best with an airdrop; I know they are listed. but just saying :D
