The Internet Of Things (IOT)

Although the Internet of Things sounds like a newer concept to the majority of us, it is a concept that was thought up and a term that was coined around 1999. This term, Internet of Things, or as you might sometimes see it written IOT, is a term that it used to describe Devices that have the potential to be connected to the internet. I think it would be safe to say that in our more modern time, another attribute that is included with IOT devices is the ability the have its software updated.(in case you don't know the difference between hardware & software) Ok so now you know what IOT is. cool, now what.

Now take a peep inside of what we experience daily from IOT. We daily in the modern world, already get to enjoy the fruits of IOT. For any readers who are in possession of a smartphone or tablet or any device connected inside your home...cable box television. Some of us have smart homes where the home itself is an actual device and it can be controlled from the palm of your hand. All of the examples that where listed are all devices that could be considered part of IOT.

Some of YOU might currently be working on projects pertaining to IOT and are currently thinking up ways to brings new innovations further connect aspect of our lives in the future. From infrastructure, to manufacturing, to farming. Currently I do not believe that there is any aspect of our modern world that is not beings touched by IOT and because of this I I think it would be safe to assume that, in the coming future, we could expect to see further integration of industries that already deal with one another... in a smart way. I also believe that automation of a lot of the more labor intensive task or very costly tasks to be outsourced to smart equipment. One aspect of this industry that I find exciting is the thought of new technologies having to be developed for ever evolving needs. KEEP YOURS EYES OPEN & BE THE CHANGE. There is a lot going on in this world right now and anything that can be done to bring one another together will ultimatly be good for all of us in the long run.
