Take a challenge

We share a vision where machines, devices, sensors and people connect and communicate with each other - it's the world of 'industry 4.0'. Exploiting the technology that allows these processes to operate simultaneously, without the need for intermediaries, will help us accelerate our mission as an organization.
Yoshiyuki Yamamoto, a UNOPS technology advisor for Blockchain, said:

Dominik Schiener, the co-founder of IOTA praised the collaboration of the two companies highlighting:

We are excited to begin working with UNOPS and to address together current and future challenges. The IOTA Foundation is fully committed to making the IOTA Tangle supports important humanitarian and development causes.

Broaden the fields of application

The management and monitoring of United Nations documents is facilitated by the IOTA distributed ledger. It is also effective in real-time supply chains and transactional payments, providing available access for UNOPS and its partners.
The existence of common problems requires shared global solutions. Thanks to our open-source, unauthorized approach, IOTA's distributed registry technology lends itself only to this kind of cooperative problem solving, said David Sonstebo, the co-founder of IOTA.
In an effort to improve the effectiveness of specific UNOPS areas, the two companies are expanding their activities into training workshops, seminars on thought leadership and the development of specific proof of concept.
