Dtube vs. Btube
Dtube is now what the steam engine was in the days of the Wild West for Steemit.
But Btube ?
Well, you have to add IT to it. Both Tubes use the IPFS blockchain and a reward system.
On Dtube you will clearly notice it when you upload a video
Searching for a video on Bit.tube gave "Dtube and BitTube are better than Youtube"
you can find at

There the IPFS hash is clearly visible in the URL: QmUvcyHEcKfv75SW2CrgZvxraS4oFZ1yUDJfakJGArurWC
(IPFS hashs always start with a Capital "Q")
So, you may find the same video at
gateway.ipfs.io/ipfs/QmUvcyHEcKfv75SW2CrgZvxraS4oFZ1yUDJfakJGArurWC/
Try it with any other known hash.
You will see something like
This video is available in different resolutions: 360 / 480 /720 pixels
To VIEW it you could use VLC player > Network Stream
and add /480/master.m3u8 to the link (replace for other resolutions to /360/ or /720/)

master.m3u8 will automatically play the whole strings of the dozens of .ts video files
This link might be take some time to start and needs buffering again and again
but it works as long as at least 1 node holds the files. (It is neither used on Dtube or Bittube.)

as an addon to CHROME browser
then go to

What I don't know: Who is running the nodes ?
Dtube seems to have lots of them, I rarely experience any buffering.
Bittube is so-so for me
and on the gateway.ipfs.io it never runs smoothly, BUT
as long as you know the IPFS hash you are immune to "deleting" videos on any platform.
