Iran,a seven thousand year old name,causes honor and pride for any Iranian. The Asians migrated to iran 6 thousand years b.c and named this territory after their tribe’s name. the acheamenians named territory ai ria and the Sassanid called it aran aranshahr.
Different tribes and languages called this territory differently during history. This triangular plateau is surrounded by sand valley in the east,by Caspian sea,ghafghaz mountain in the north ,by zagros great mountain chains in the west and Persian golf and oman sea In the south.
Iran’s art is over 6000 years old. The primary residents of iran did pottery in the west in 9th millennium b.c.
Many human discoveries in the millennium before Christ belongs to ancient iran,such as discovery of metal,wind mill,special architecture in tombs,weaving industry,pottery wheel,statues,carved patterns,buildings descorations,miniatures and many other evolution signs.
