Mauritius from the air
Port Louis the capital as seen from the air shows how well developed the island is with lots of good infrastructure.
Among the residential areas there is plenty of agriculture and also fresh water storage dams.
Near the city are large imposing mountains and peaks, the eroded remnants of the volcano es that created this island, much like Hawaii.
Much of the agricultural activity relates to sugar cane as can be seen from the large field of sugar cane running right up to the base of the mountain.
An aircraft window is a good place to get a quick overview of the island.
