Launchforth Island EV Challenge
The Island EV Challenge envisions a world where islands are no longer limited by the combustion engine and all the pains that come with it. We are asking, you, our community of Solvers, to rethink personal transport on islands focused on the island vibe and need, of being low speed, easy to maintain, and something that doesn't require all the creature comforts of contemporary cars - think of a the ruggedness of a Jeep Wrangler, the ease of use of a low speed scooter, and flexibility of golf cart. Remember, this is a concept challenge, and no idea is a bad idea!

Second place award chosen by our expert judges, will be given to the entry that best meets challenge requirements, shows feasibility and innovates on the traditional realm of NEVs. This prize is only available to entries including a Siemens Solid Edge CAD file

Third place award chosen by our expert judges, will be given to the entry that best meets challenge requirements and inspires the judges with their concept.

Fourth place award chosen by our expert judges, will be given to the entry that best meets challenge requirements.

Siemens Solid Edge Bonus X 4
$500
Our preferred technology partner, Siemens Solid Edge is sponsoring a total of 4 $500 bonuses for winners, who use Siemens Solid Edge within their submission. These bonuses will be added on top of the winners prize award amount. All submissions must be able to prove they used Siemens Solid Edge to be eligible for this bonus. Only the submissions who are selected as the top winners (3rd - 4th place) and community awards will be considered for the bonus.
