First photo, sent by ISRO Satellite, shows Indore Stadium

Chennai: Indian Space Research Center (ISRO) released the first picture taken by its satellite of Cartosat-2 series, which was recently launched from Sriharikota Spaceport, 110 km from Sriharikota Spaceport, here. India has announced the launch of its 100 satellites in space through this launch. This satellite has sent a photograph of Holkar Stadium of Indore on the first day. This photo has been released on the ISRO website of Bangalore headquarters.

ISRO launched 31 satellites on Friday morning via PSLV at 9.28 a.m. Of the 31 satellites sent, three were Indians and 28 were from six other countries. For the Earth observation, the 710 kg cartoset-2 series is the primary satellite of the mission.
Apart from this, 100 kilograms of micro and 10 kilograms of Nano satellites were also included. Of the 28 international co-passenger satellites, 19 were US, 5 South Korea and one each from Canada, France, Britain and Finland.
In February last year, India had sent 104 satellites together. Apart from the US, smaller sizes of Israel, Holland, UAE, Switzerland and Kazakhstan were included. India's only three satellites included in this launch. Of the satellites to be launched, 96 satellites were from America.
On March 5, 2013, 'Mangalyaan', which was sent to Mars on Mars, made history by reaching Mars orbit on September 24, 2014. Along with this, India had become the first country in the world to reach Mars in its first attempt. Countries such as the United States and the former Soviet Union who reached Mars were successful after many attempts. China has not been able to enter the orbit of the astrology.
