That these neurodegenerative diseases can be caused by the inflammation due to an excessive reaction of the immune system is a very accredited hypothesis. Che queste malattie neurodegenerative possano essere causate dall’infiammazione dovuta a una reazione eccessiva del sistema immunitario è un’ipotesi molto accreditata. Ora trova nuove conferme, grazie a un lavoro di neuroscienziati che hanno studiato sui topi i meccanismi di infiammazione. Gli scienziati hanno scoperto che nei topi in cui questi meccanismi sono inibiti le malattie neurodegenerative si sviluppano in modo decisamente più lieve.
Entanglement tra migliaia di atomi
Tre nuovi studi hanno dimostrato come sia possibile porre in uno stato di entanglement molte migliaia di atomi, fino ad 11000. Un altro passo in avanti verso la futura applicazione dei fenomeni quantistici nei dispositivi elettronici che usiamo quotidianamente. Potrebbe trarne beneficio in particolare la computazione quantistica, un nuovo paradigma che promette di realizzare computer con una potenza di calcolo enormemente maggiore di quella odierna.

Nel piano di investimenti che la Commissione Europea ha proposto per il periodo 2021-2027 sono previsti 100 miliardi destinati alla ricerca scientifica.
