7.5 cm Anti-Tank Gun - PAK40/L46 (ITA/ENG)
Good morning everyone and welcome back to my page. Today I would like to dedicate myself to the realization of the 7.5 cm PaK 40 of Tamiya, unfortunately changing THE CONTEST announced. Reason rather simple that I explain also in the preface video, or there is no effective space to insert a Pak 40 within DIORAMA 2. I take this opportunity to apologize to the participants by modifying the post of the contest announcing the absence of the Pak 40.
History
But let's come to us. The PaK 40 in question was a standard anti-tank cannon of the German army throughout the Second World War.
Used almost on all fronts of the war, it replaced the PaK38, another large German anti-tank gun, but it was a 50 millimeter, and therefore not very effective against the new T-34 Russian tanks.
It is no coincidence that even the Royal Italian Army used this cannon for two main reasons:
- Absence of anti-tank guns in the Italian war industry (lack of funds mainly)
- Effectiveness without a doubt of the cannon.
It was probably the best antitank of the war, alongside the Soviet ZIS-3 and of course the ever-German FLAk-88, but that's another type of weapon.

Buongiorno a tutti e bentornati sulla mia pagina. Oggi vorrei dedicarmi alla realizzazione del 7,5 cm PaK 40 di Tamiya, cambiando purtroppo IL CONTEST annunciato. Motivo alquanto semplice che spiego anche nel video di prefazione, ovvero non c'รจ effettivo spazio per inserire un Pak 40 all'interno del DIORAMA 2. Colgo l'occasione per scusarmi con i partecipanti modificando il post del contest annunciando appunto l'assenza del Pak 40
Storia
Ma veniamo a noi. Il PaK 40 in oggetto รจ stato un cannone anticarro standard dell'esercito tedesco durante tutto il corso della Seconda Guerra Mondiale.
Utilizzato praticamente su tutti i fronti della Guerra sostituรฌ il PaK38, altro grande cannone anticarro tedesco, che perรฒ era un 50 millimentri, quindi poco efficace contro i nuovi carri russi T-34.
Non a caso anche il Regio Esercito Italiano adoperรฒ questo cannone per due motivi principali:
- Assenza di cannoni anticarro nell'industria bellica italiana (mancanza di fondi principalmente)
- Efficacia senza ombra di dubbio del cannone.
Probabilmente รจ stato il miglior antitank della Guerra, al fianco dello ZIS-3 sovietivo e ovviamente del FLAk-88 sempre tedesco, ma quello รจ un altro tipo di arma.
