IL MIO KASPERINO

Salve, oggi vi parlerò di Kasperino ......

(Yorkshire Terrier) è una razza di piccola taglia che prende il nome dall'omonima contea inglese, dove nacquero i primi allevamenti di questi cani. Operai tessili e minatori li portavano nelle loro Industrie e gallerie per tenere lontano i topi che le infestavano nei primi dell' Ottocento. La razza fù ottenuta tramite incroci di: Terrier piccolo, dandie, maltese e Skye. Cane intelligentissimo, con forte personalità è un eccellente guardiano che con il suo abbaiare insistente avvisa per ogni rumore e situazione anche in parte sospetta, diffidente con gli estranei ma affezionatissimo al suo padrone. E' un cane che può vivere benissimo sia in appartamento che in case con giardini, con la sua grande vivacità e inesauribile dinamicità, è un cane impegnativo in entrambi i casi perché bisognoso di frequenti passeggiate nel primo e di continue attenzioni nel secondo in quanto predisposto a mettersi nei guai.

Dotato di grande temperamento, affettuoso, allegro, gioioso e giocherellone non ama essere lasciato solo e lo dimostra con piccole azioni di rappresaglia......

In pochi anni questo piccolo cacciatore è diventato un eccellente cane da compagnia, attestandosi come una tra le razze più popolari al mondo. Cane compatto nelle sue linee, il suo peso ideale si aggira intorno ai 3,180 kg la razza è unica non esistono suddivisione di taglie. Il suo corpo è ben proporzionato: testa piccola e piatta non troppo arrotondata, muso non troppo lungo e orecchie a forma di v coperte da pelo.

• Il pelo, sul corpo è spartito sul dorso da linea regolare, di lunghezza moderata è lucente e non lanoso. Sulla testa è più lungo e tende ad un color rossiccio dorato così come sulle orecchie, sopra il muso e sugli arti; nella coda, invece, diviene di un blu più scuro rispetto al corpo.

• Il colore blu jeansato è di superficie. I due colori tipici della razza non si mescoleranno mai. La sua vita media è compresa tra 14 ed i 16 anni ma ci sono esemplari anche più longevi.

Anche se non di altissima genealogia, il mio Kasperino, rispecchia molto i criteri fisici e comportamentali della razza in questione quali: la testa piatta, il tartufo (naso) nero, la coda ricurva all'insù, il tronco longilineo e compatto con una leggera curvatura delle costole...

Oramai è sei anni che conviviamo con questo tenero rubacuori che è riusciuto ad rallegrare ma allo stesso tempo incasinare le nostre giornate.

Although not of high genealogy, my Kasperino, very much reflects the physical and behavioral criteria of the race in question such as: the flat head, the nose (black nose), the tail curved upwards, the trunk is long and compact with a slight curvature of the ribs.

It is now six years that we live with this tender heartbreaker who was able to cheer up but at the same time mess up our days.
