Lebron si è sposato con Savannah Brinson, il 14 settembre 2013 ed ha avuto da sua moglie 3 figli .

James gioca le 2 stagione successive molto bene però la sua squadra non riesce a qualificarsi per i play-off fino ad arrivare alla stagione 206-2007 dove si qualificano hai play-off e riescono ad arrivare un finale dove Lebron segna gli ultimi 29 dei 30 punti della squadra e compie il canestro vincente a 2,2 secondi al termine della partita .

Questa scelta si rivelerà decisiva perchè nella stagione 2015 vince il suo 3 titolo NBA e subito dopo la vittoria annuncia che non andrà ai mondiali di rio per riposarsi e per essere al meglio nella stagione successiva inoltre il suo ingaggio arriva ad essere il più pagato per un cestista per la cifra di 100 milioni
nelle 2 stagioni successive 2016 e 2017 arriva in ambedue nella finale perdendole entrambe arrivando così ad 8 finale consecutive e decide di andarsene per cercare nuovi stimoli ed approda nei Lakers dove stipula un quadriennale da 154 milioni ogni anno nel 2018 raggiunge i 30000 punti segnati battendo ogni record di punti massimi segnati nella NBA Statunitense .
