INTRO
(ITA) La scorsa settimana ho proposto un post in cui celebravo il lavoro di squadra, attraverso una collaborazione tra utenti di varie nazioni. Ho scelto altri 4 ragazzi con i quali collaborare per costruire il nostro quintetto ideale. Ad ognuno di loro ho assegnato un ruolo.
Ad ora solo @ElLoco7 ha pubblicato il suo articolo su Dennis Rodman e @heyitshaas su Ron Artest; sto ancora aspettando quindi i post di @dopinthezone e @serialfiller.
La scelta del giocatore non è stata facile, devo essere onesto. Vi chiederete il perché: la risposta è semplice. I giocatori che hanno rivestito questo ruolo sono molti ed alcuni tra i più significativi di sempre: Kobe Bryant e Michael Jordan probabilmente sono tra i più significativi ed i più famosi. Tra i giocatori in attività sicuramente Harden e Wade sono tra i più carismatici e conosciuti.
Il mio obiettivo però era quello di proporre nel miglior quintetto un giocatore che per me abbia significato molto. Ho scelto quindi Ray Allen; riguardo il motivo della mia scelta lo troverete solo alla fine del post. Prima godetevi il resto.

(ENG) Last week I wrote a post where I celebrated teamwork with a collaboration between users of various nations. I chose 4 other guys and I proposed them to write a post to create together our hypotetic starting five. I assigned a position to each of them.

La mia volontà è quella di parlare di questo giocatore non solo raccontandovi le cifre ed i record, i numeri dei titoli ed il numero di canestri segnati in carriera, ma proporvi delle curiosità, aneddoti e facce di Ray che non conoscete.
Durante la sua lunghissima carriera ha portato avanti lo scettro di miglior tiratore della NBA. Prima di lui un grande atleta in questa disciplina è stato Reggie MIller. Da lui ha preso l'istinto assassino che da sempre contraddistingue tiratori micidiali come i due. In più Ray Allen però aveva una struttura fisica più pesante e più bassa, ma una caratteristica comune ad entrambi sono braccia molto lunghe. Questa qualità unita ad un'impressionante rapidità e rilascio della palla nell'atto di tiro hanno reso questo giocatore uno delle migliori guardie tiratrici di sempre.
Diventare uno dei più grandi tiratori di sempre però significa lavorare molto e duramente in palestra: sessioni infinite di tiro. Quando poi le braccia iniziano a pesare è proprio in quel momento che il corpo dell'atleta inizia a rendere al meglio in un'ottica di gara.

TECNICA DI TIRO/ SHOOTING TECHNIQUE
Ray Allen negli anni ha migliorato moltissimo le sue capacità di tiratore. Vediamo i punti essenziali (per aiutarvi a capire vi consiglio di seguire questo video):
1) Allen non stacca mai gli occhi dal canestro al momento di ricevere la palla e rilasciarla per un catch-and-shoot. Cosa significa questo? Massimo lavoro da parte del passatore che deve passare la palla correttamente, ma anche grande abilità per Ray di afferrare la palla e tirare. Questo richiede molta confidenza con il senso del tatto e premia con un'esecuzione del tiro molto rapida.
2)Il grande uso delle dita per qualsiasi tiratore è molto importante. Se si vuole eseguire un tiro morvido la parte del corpo che insirizza la palla devono essere le dita, mentre braccia e spalle la spingono. Allen conclude sempre il suo tiro utilizzando il dito medio come indicatore di direzione per il tiro. Questo infatti è sempre diretto verso il canestro e spinge la palla verso l'alto nella sua parabola.
3) il corpo di Ray durante ogni jump-shot è eretto e non si curva mai. Questo per convertire gran parte della forza nel tiro. Se avesse una posizione più curva avrebbe bisogno di impiegare maggiormente le braccia e quindi peccherebbe di precisione. Anche i piedi svolgono un ruolo fondamentale: nella maggior parte dei casi questi sono paralleli e diretti verso il canestro. Equilibrio e stabilità sono i punti a favore di questa postura.

Certe volte gli idoli possono essere anche quei giocatori che spesso ti hanno fatto soffrire. Ray Allen è stato uno di questi. Sono sempre stato un grande tifoso dei San Antonio Spurs e nel 2013 ho sofferto molto. Ho sofferto dopo la sua tripla che ha riaperto la serie.
Ma come spesso succede la pallacanestro è bella perché è possibile riconoscere anche nel rivale un talento ed io oggi ho voluto premiare Ray per il grande giocatore che è stato e per la sua grande professionalità.

Super tiratore e cavolo, super post! Mi è molto piaciuta la parte in cui hai analizzato la tecnica di tiro, ancora una volta i miei complimenti! Dopo Rodman e Artest serviva proprio uno leggermente più tecnico ahah
I biglietti le vinci con l'attacco, ma le partite le vinci con la difesa
...quindi oggi ho pensato soprattutto a vendere biglietti!!!!
...anche se Allen qualche partita alla fine l'ha vinta, sapendo difendere anche su un certo Kobe Bryant.
