Moving towards a world of equality: press 4 progress SBD Contest with @evashinen
#pressforprogress, there is never a better time to move for equality.
Last year, World Economic Forum gave a gender gap report which measured the inequality between genders, The report found that we are still 200 years away from gender parity - 200 years!!!
The following areas were critically studied during the report;
- Health and Survival
- Economic participation and Opportunity
- Political empowerment
- Educational attainment
This year's theme #pressforprogress is a call to action for everyone towards moving to an equal world. And it's also a good thing to note that the theme doesn't and shouldn't just apply to the day itself but campaigns and initiatives should run throughout the year so as to achieve the themes goal quickier.
