自分の中でもシリーズと化してきた洋楽和訳の記事。
別ジャンルも何か取り組みたいな、と思案しております。

今回は、前記事で@sallyfunさんから
「意味がわかりやすいよ」
とアドバイスいただき、The Beatlesの歌の和訳に挑戦します。

The Beatlesといえば、中学生のころ
「Hey Jude」や「Yesterday」
を、授業で学んだ思い出があります。
笑点の山田くんは元"ずうとるび"

言葉が出てこず、「アレ」を連発する人みたいになってしまいましたw
これは例のアレですね、ウン。

全体的な意訳予想ですが、

"Let it be"≒なるがままに身をまかせよう
"Mother Mary"＝母マリア≒女神様？

という個人的意訳を含めて、
「例え今は辛い状況でも道は開けるから、なるがままにいこう」
ってところですかね？

ちょっと答え合わせも兼ねて、カンニングさせていただきます🙇

うーん、凄いです…
"Let it be"の和訳だけでも複数ありますね👀

※歌詞の順番が微妙に違うのはご容赦ください😅

歌の翻訳はなんというか、
「英語歌詞の各文章の単語および文法を理解した上で、その意味に沿って日本語で作詞し直す」
必要がありますね…なかなか難しいです。

とはいえ、洋楽の意味がわかってくるのは楽しいですね。
記事を作りながら【Let it be】に勇気づけられました😀
懲りずにまた翻訳チャレンジしようと思います！
