[EN/JP] Eating one of the famous Japanese beef "Hida-gyu" (飛騨牛最高！)

Japanese umbrellas at Gifu station. We call it "Wagasa." These are made of Japanese paper and wood. Now Japanese don't use them on rainy days. We are using a plastic umbrella. But when I was a child I was using for Japanese traditional dance. Sadly, I forgot how to dance.
Anyways most Japanese don't use it now. However, these are used by traditional ones. (e.g. Geisha)

子供の頃日本舞踊を習っており、よく使いました。今ではもう踊り方をすっかり忘れてしまいましたが……

Gifu is the smaller than Nagoya. But it's interesting. My BF is an American, he was impressed by Gifu. I will write about that next time.
By the way, Gifu is the big prefecture in Japan. Gifu city is on the south side of the prefecture. But on the north side, there is famous onsen (the hot spring), Wagyu (Japanese beef), and the traditional village. I'd like to go to the village with him. The village names Shirakawa. There is one of the world heritage sites call Shirakawa-go. Also, I'd like to go to Gero hot spring.

岐阜は名古屋よりも小さい都市ですが、興味深いです。最後にここを遊びに訪れたのはかなり前で、JR岐阜駅前にある金の信長像はいつの間に出来たのだろうかと3度見しました。写真を撮れば良かったです。
岐阜といえば飛騨高山のイメージが強いですよね。白川郷や下呂温泉にも行きたいところです。

彼（アメリカ人）は神戸牛を知っていてもそのほかの和牛を知らず、和牛＝神戸牛の図式が出来上がっていました。岐阜から電車で20分ほどの距離にある名古屋に住んでいてそれは本当に勿体ないので、今回は岐阜を代表するお食事の一つ、飛騨牛をオーダーです。比較的駅近のレストランだったと思うのですが、完全に名前を忘れてしまいました。シェフが厳格でサービスが行き届いたお店で、また行きたいので探し出します。
