グアムのローカルの方も、観光で来ている方からも人気のお店に行ってきました🇬🇺

やっぱり、旅行で来たならローカルフード食べたいですよね！
グアム伝統のチャモロフードが、お洒落なフレンチ風にアレンジしてある見た目でも楽しめる料理。特別なお祝いの日にもぴったり。

お店の名前は「プロア(PROA)レストラン⛵️」
プロアという名前の由来は、マイクロネシア地域で乗られているボート。
モアナを観たことがある方は覚えてると思いますが、モアナが乗って沖に出たボートですね。🏝

私達は旅行で日本から来ているお友達とローカル料理を食べようとプロアを予約。(予約無しでも行けますが、時間帯によって混むので予約した方が安心かな。)

アガニャ店とタモン店がありますが、今回はアガニャ店へ。タモンの方はまだ行ったことないです😌

レストランに着いたら、そのお友達がビーチから一旦ホテルに向かってるということでオードブルを食べながら待つことに。

☝️こちらは牛肉やマッシュルーム、トマトなどをビーフシチュー風に炒めてパンに乗せたもの。店員さんが運んでくれた時にこれ美味しいよ！とオススメしていました♪ 「ご飯とも合いそうだね」と話していたら、従業員さんが食べる時はアレンジしてご飯で食べる事が多いらしい。
お客さんでもご飯にも変更可能とのことなので次回やってみよう~😄

☝️サーモンとカラマリ(イカ🦑)と牛肉のカリグエン/salmon, kalamari(squid) and beef kaliguen (added lemon juice and flavor on the raw ingredients)
•カリグエンは、生のままレモンを掛けて味付けするローカル料理の定番！

☝️火鉢チキンタコス・パパイヤサルサ/Proa Style Hibachi Chicken Tacos with Peppery Papaya Salsa and Pupulu Drizzle

メインにいきそうな時に友達がホテルに着いたとの事でその日は会えずw😂そのままメインへ。

メイン:手前がbig filler trio というメニューでスペアリブ・ショートリブとチキンのBBQ(
ご飯が白米かレッドライスか半々か選べました)
右上がプライムリブのロコモコ
左上がリブアイステーキとポテト

今回はバナナにココナツをまぶして揚げたデザートを食べました。サクサクで美味！
他にはケーキもここのレストランで美味しいと人気ですよ👯

残念ながら友達には、グアムにいる間に会えなかったけど料理がどれも美味しかったし、その後映画を観に行ったり充実した日になって良かったかな。( ´∀｀)

I went to a local /French style fusion restaurant.

The name of the restaurant is Proa Restaurant. Proa means the traditional boat used in Micronesia.
If you've watched a movie Moana, the boat she was on when she left the island is "Proa".

It's exactly like the print on this napkin⬇️.

Our friends were visiting Guam and they wanted to have local Chamorro food. That case, Proa is perfect place to go.

Sadly after they went to the beach, they didn't make it to come to the restaurant but we still enjoyed some appetizer, main dishes and a dessert.

☝️Hawaiian Rock salt hand pressed Ribeye steak with country smashed Potetoes Li Hing Mui compound butter and natural pan sauce

☝️Big Feller trio (Short Rib, Spare ribs and chicken BBQ/we could choose white rice or red rice or half half)

We ate some deep fried banana covered with coconut for Dessert.
They are famous for delicious cakes as well:)

I loved everything I tried at that restaurant and I recommend it.
