Steemit can be overwhelming at times, but there are people that do try to take the time and help others.
Where you can Find us
@newbieresteemday - This is our primary account, and the one that does the majority of the resteems, although most members will resteem a few post. On our home blog page you will find on the banner the link to our discord chat room.
@newbiegames - This is our page that we utilize to highlight and support games and challenges, and where we occasionally run our own games and challenges for the not just the new users, but for all users of steemit. We try to feature games and challenges that do not have overly complicated entry rules, and most of the games do not charge even a vote to play. If you have the Vote Power available, one is always appreciated, many of the smaller games rely on the post pay out for the awards pool.
Discord Chat Room - Here is where you can go to find all kinds of help, or to just find someone to chat with. We have a lot of information and assistants rooms on the left hand room links, and a post promotion dropbox that people use to find new content from members to look over.

This Weeks Addition
- https://steemit.com/@quarantine This is a new account that has been set up to help counteract Phishing Comments, and the new batch of 25 REP Red Flaggers. If you have been hit by any of these annoying obnoxious flaggers, there is now somewhere you can go and report, and help take them down. Here is their link Down Votes Accounts - Use for Harassment, so when you get flagged for no reason other than spite, drop them a note on that post. Ignore the fact it is beyond post payout, they will still respond and if the flag had an effect on your Rep, or post value they will do their best to make you whole again. Of course they can do nothing if your post is already past payout.
I will try to keep my on eye on their progress and let you know when there is a change.
Conclusion
Minnow/Newbie Palooza, for @newbiegames, which ran last week was an astounding success. @simplymike, and @davemccoy deserve a lot of thanks for the contest, along with the others that helped in the contest. some quick numbers: 123 Players, over 1600 comments, and a wheelbarrow load of prizes given out. I forgot I wanted to remind everyone that if they get hacked, here is a very important link to @simplymike's post about how to recover your account. Being hacked can have a devastating effect, I would strongly recommend a new bookmark folder if you do not have one and a name similar to what I chose to name my folder - Steemit Account Recovery -.

So take a glance at them and see if they can help with any flagging problems you encounter. Remember no matter how much you would dearly love to retaliate, some of those accounts will not help in a flag war, so restain your urge, report the actions, and let those with enough power to deal with it deal with it.
