It was an interesting read although I tried to get an idea of who the mutts and the kittens were. I have the impression that they are vampires and werewolves but am not too sure.
Werewolves, and werecat vampires. Steempunk stories that I am familiar with have a tendency to take things and make them slightly different. Like I tried to do with the cat people myths, making them werecat vampires, all the strengths of both but few of the failings. Most normal werewolf stories portray them as strong and pretty invincible, so I make them kind of week and mealy. I am still trying to learn the writing part of the ideas. I see them in my head, but need more practice moving them to the screen.
