Monsoon rains have started

The monsoon rains have arrived late than usual.
It is supposed to have arrived in the first week of June.

The torrential rains had wreaked havoc last year and people still cannot forget the nightmare caused by the floods of 2018.

Lesson learnt and people are more cautious and prepared to face such a situation if it arises.
