This is what states do: They make people disappear, and die, with no permission needed from anyone else. Anything else that states do, they achieve by using this method, or by a persuasive threat to use it.

Wherever you live, do not say that your government is immune. It is not.

There have been many efforts to limit government. This is the reason those efforts exist.
